Amazing Minds is a not-for-profit community interest company that develops engaging and cost-effective well-being resources for schools and other community organisations. Their goal is to create simple and accessible resources grounded in science.
Background:
Amazing Minds approached CLS intending to create a well-being program for primary schools called “Amazing Me”. They wanted to offer a mindfulness-based digital program focused on well-being, resilience, and emotional literacy. Amazing Minds had little experience in this area and needed guidance on the best approach.
Solution:
CLS worked with Amazing Minds to develop a Learning Management System (LMS) that was as automated and self-sufficient as possible. The LMS included features such as sign-up forms, automated emails, and the ability for customers to set up their user accounts. It also had an area for supporting materials like lesson plans, audio and training videos, a forum, frequently asked questions, help guides, and a glossary of terms.
CLS created seven characters and animations for each module to appeal to its target audience of primary school children. They also provided face-to-face meetings to explore options and ensure that the program was easy to use and understand.
Amazing Minds wanted to offer a free trial to their clients with the option to upgrade to different, tailored memberships. CLS accommodated this and made it easy for customers to access and navigate the program.
Results:
The “Amazing Me” program has been successful in primary schools, with children learning about and improving their well-being. The schools using the platform have been happy with the animations and have found the platform easy to use, making it attractive to teachers. They have also been able to retain their customers and offer more materials by adding them to the platform quickly. Amazing Minds has not received any queries about problems accessing or navigating the program.
